Hike It Baby- 2025

DivingDeep in association with RhythmRumble brings to an outdoor hiking and nature sensory experience for young children and toddlers - “Hike It Baby”!

Join us as a team of parent/parents and your child/children for a #hikeitbaby adventure in the great outdoors, where you can bond and immerse yourselves in nature.

In addition to trail hiking basics, we will facilitate nature connection along with earthing, grounding, farm fiddling, and a short music circle. During the session, we will focus on sensory experience for kids to have child-like way of being in the nature.

Certain focus based activities like walking barefoot on the grass, gazing at the trees, getting a feel of different wild canopies, smelling wild fragrances, and exploring splashy muddy puddle. Our team of experts will ensure that these experiences are genuine and safe in order to develop an inherent relationship we are all born with the natural world.

Additionally, we will provide a supper/ light meal at the conclusion of the event. Please remember to bring preferred snacks for the children.

Essentials:

• Hiking daypack - (If your child can walk and carry a small pack and water bottle, let them carry it during the hike)

• Weather-appropriate clothing (Full-body covered, breathable and prefer earthy/ dark colour) 

• Hiking footwear/ sturdy shoes along with socks (Your little ones can put on secured and wide sneakers or crocs)

• Cap (For your little ones as well)

• Bandana/ cotton scarf/ napkin (For your little ones too)

• Drinking water bottle

• Extra pair of clothing and a thin towel (Bring an extra set for both you and your child along with a wet bag)

• Rain jacket

• Some homemade snack for your child (in an airtight container, refrain from bringing any single-use plastic materials or foils)

• Baby sings/ carrier packs (in case you have/need one)

Other criteria:

• You cannot participate if you or your child or both have any sickness symptoms before or during the start of the trip like fever, cold, cough, tiredness, conjunctivitis, diarrhoea, loss of taste or smell, aches and pains, sore throat and or discolouration of fingers or toes.

• Participant guardians/parents need to submit/fill a registration & declaration form in advance of the trip.

• Cameras and mobile phones are both prohibited to maintain the decorum of the space.

• No pets are allowed.

• We expect you to be respectful of each other and your differing world-views. Leave your judgment at home.

• Everyone is responsible to practice the Leave-No-Trace principles and tries to leave an area the way they found it.

• Do not wear or carry any kind of jewellery and ornaments during the program.

• Do not apply/ wear perfumes, sunscreen, roll-ons, or any other lotions on your body during the program.

• Do not carry any chemicals, hand-washers, soaps, shampoo, tissue paper or wet-wipes.

(We will carry a safe organic mosquito repellent and first-aid.)

• Tissues, wipes or any other form of (non-reusable) disposables are not allowed during the program. (Carry reusable cloth napkins.)

• Food packets, chocolates, chewing gums, plastic bags, or any packaged material food is prohibited.

• Carrying or consuming any kind of liquor, tobacco products, cigarettes, drugs or any other intoxicating stuff or any such consumption is STRICTLY prohibited.
